Mild redness or sensitivity is common immediately after waxing but usually fades within a few hours to a day. We apply soothing balms and offer cooling aftercare. For sensitive skin, we adjust technique and recommend appropriate products to minimize irritation.
Yes. Brow maintenance typically needs touch-ups every three to four weeks to maintain shape. Regular appointments help keep clean lines and prevent over-plucking. Our technicians map brows to your facial features and advise on the ideal schedule for your growth pattern.
Gently exfoliate 48 hours before and ensure hair is about 1/4 inch long. Avoid retinoids, strong acids, tanning, and blood-thinning medications 48–72 hours prior. Arrive with clean, dry skin free of oils or lotions to ensure proper wax adhesion and reduced irritation.
We do not wax active acne, open wounds, sunburned skin, recent chemical peel areas, or severely thinning skin. Please disclose pregnancy, medications, or medical conditions. Our therapists will consult and may recommend alternatives if waxing is unsafe.
Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and cooling aloe or chamomile gels for the first 48 hours. Avoid hot baths, saunas, sun exposure, and exfoliation for two days. After 48 hours, exfoliate gently two to three times weekly to prevent ingrown hairs and keep skin smooth.
