What the treatment includes
This service combines a Hydrafacial with a PCA Skin chemical peel in a focused 60-minute session designed for acne care. The combined steps cleanse, exfoliate, and apply a professional-strength peel that is intended to improve overall tone and texture, brighten the face, address facial blemishes, and reduce the appearance of open pores.
At Lineth balza skin care & massage the peel strength is chosen to balance visible improvement with downtime. The price for this service is $150. Treatments are provided in our North Mountain Phoenix location and are delivered by experienced staff who explain each step before and during the service.
Recovery and sun exposure
Recovery typically lasts one to three days and depends directly on chosen peel strength. Shorter recovery times are common with lighter peels; stronger peels increase exfoliation and lengthen visible shedding. Because the treated skin is more sensitive to UV, clients must limit direct sun exposure during recovery to help the skin heal as expected.
Phoenix's hot, sunny climate and seasonal patterns make timing important—our busiest months are January, February, October and November, when reduced sun makes recovery easier. Plan appointments around outdoor plans such as a hike at Piestewa Peak or shopping at Biltmore Fashion Park, and use evening or weekend slots if you commute on I-17 or SR-51.
Choosing the right peel strength
Peel strength influences both how your skin looks afterward and how long you need to recover. Our staff assesses acne severity, skin sensitivity, and lifestyle before recommending a strength. Many clients appreciate that clinicians explain options clearly so you choose a peel that fits your goals and your schedule rather than assuming a one-size-fits-all approach.
There is a trade-off: stronger peels can produce more noticeable change in tone and texture but require longer downtime, while milder peels have quicker recovery with subtler immediate effects. For teenagers or first-time peel clients, a conservative starting strength is common and can be adjusted in follow-up visits based on results and tolerance.
